I owned one before and want another because the neck is sooooooo comfy. I don't think any match the one I had though. I do MUCH prefer these with the maple fret board.

Well, couldn't help myself. Stripped 58 in Smoke Burst for $1728. After a set of new strings and a truss rod adjustment it's awesome.

Yes. It played like shit, the action was really high. But I convinced them to get some tools and adjust the truss rod which was all it needed. Sometimes when a neck has too much relief you never know what the neck is going to do when you straighten it out. Some necks turn into Galloping Gerty! This one straightened right out, and "I think" it's the best sounding PRS I've played.

E Brunswick is closer to me, might take a ride over and see what they have left.

Went in on my lunch break.
Picked up this little bitch.

$1400. Stripped 58.
Huge chunky neck, great tones. Can't complain.

You just saved $1000. Those ran $2400 when they came out. The one I picked up was priced at $2800 just a week ago. The nut width on these is 1 21/32 so it's a little more narrow than the usual 1 11/16th that you find on LP's. It's kinda chunky but still has a great feel for me because it doesn't feel that wide.
