Guitar Center not knowing their inventory well....

Does it say Bogner Volume pedal or is it Bogner pedal under "volume pedal" category? At GC when they build in the used gear for pedals it only gives like 3 options: volume pedals, multi effect, and don't remember the 3rd. No option for overdrive/dist, mod, delay... Stupid but whatever, but yes half the time they still don't know shit about what they have.

I went to my local GC...bought a 4x12 that was loaded with V30's and GH12's for $200

PLayed it about a year then parted it out. Made about $400 off the speakers alone and $30 for the empty cab.
Wasnt my intention.....but hey...whaddya gonna do?

In store sometimes the Atlanta downtown store has crazy markdowns. They have an EVH Stealth, black, whammy bar, 799$. Half price. I played it. Fine guitar. They said a new model was coming out and they have to get all old style units gone or they will never sell them. I have just bought a Suhr Tele, so I had to let that one sit. I almost considered buying it to sell.

Jubilee 2550 for 1200...2554 combo for 800..(sold for 1500)..Vintage superlead for 749..(it was a ptp 1971, put a new headshell on it and=2200)...at least 5 Crate Stealths( I know ) for LESS than 150..all sold for at least 350..and just yesterday a MINT 1979 JMP 2204 for 899..not the best deal but try finding that on ebay...gotta love GC online.

Damn, those are some killer deals!

I'll give you $900 for that JMP 2204 and you can walk away with from it with a profit! Seriously, if it's truly mint and you're thinking of selling it, PM me!

I will let you know after I get it...love to keep the Aldrich, Jub and a stock JMP but I'm afraid the wife will only let me keep 2..gotta find a way to hide the 2204 lol....I was trying to decide between the 79 2204 and a 76 2203 that had a fan mod..the 79 appeared stock so I went for it. Yeah it always pays to check out GC online from time to time..

Worked FOR YEARS in the Jam room for me.
Hiding/smuggling gear was a Specialty of mine.

I once got a 77 2203 for $300, 76 Superlead 50 watter for $575, 78 twin reverb $275, 70's Marshall checker 4x12 with blackbacks $499, fender super champ xd $159 . I also have seen "vintage" gear listed for double the going rate so it can work both ways there.

Wow I thought I got some great deals...those are killer. There's a Voodoo modded 1959 RI that they had for 2999, now it's 1999 lol...I sold one on ebay a few years ago for 1400..they can underprice some and overprice others lol...I don't think they ever look on ebay to see what items are actually going for.

It's funny but I get busted by the boxes that I try to keep for future re-selling if I decide to...if the packaging was good why not re-use it? She can't tell if I have a different head but DAMN she notices a new cardboard box that I tried to hide..lol

Yeah....trunk can work for a while...once its full your on your own.
Or break the boxes down then slide them under a bench or against the well.
