Cool guits. Where did you flee California to go to?

I am still in the SF Bay Area, other side of Golden Gate Bridge. I like the area, the rolling hills, the bays, etc. but, the amount of nonsense happening, and the influx of crime right across the bridge is NUTS.

I moved to Omaha, Nebraska. I was stationed here in the early 90s when the first Gulf War started. Spent 6 years here and left when I got out. Should never have moved back to California (I joined from there). I love it here -- it's clean, quiet, sensible, cheap, less crowded, people wave and say hi, please, and thank you. And we're getting permit-less carry starting in September. I like the weather changes, my wife and I like rain, snow, overcast days and it's the shitty weather that keeps people from moving here. The whole state has less than 2 million people. The Sacramento area had over 3 million people just in that one area.

California seems like a bad nightmare now.

I dig the look of that Balaguer. Let's here the details.

Ash body, hardtail, jumbo frets, ebony board, roasted maple neck with only an oil finish, 16" radius. Neck dimensions are .80 at the first great and .88 at the 12th with a flat C profile -- basically a Charvel type neck. I love the neck joint and it's incredibly comfortable to play. The stock pickups had to go, so I loaded it with Suhrs.

Spent 1K only -- brand new.
