Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about an idea I had recently, and I want to know what others here think. I was thinking about making my own Guitar Instructional Video/Pod Cast type deal where I would should beginner’s different techniques and tips, and do some more advanced things for long time players as well. Then I thought that it would be a good idea to incorporate a "Lick of the Week" type of deal to get others to participate by recording their take of the lick (similar to "Bethca Can't Play This" From there, I've come up with a new idea. I was thinking that I would make a weekly/monthly/whenever I get the chance video giving some Beginners tips/techniques, and some more Advanced licks/techniques and some of licks and others could make videos showing their Tips/Techniques and some of their own licks, as well as take a stab at others' licks, so it would turn into a big "Guitar Player's Resource" where anyone of any skill level can watch/participate and learn something. Beginner guitarists could learn new practice tips, and Advanced guitar players could come in and share Ideas/Licks/Tips with one another.
Anyone think this is a good thought? Would anyone like to participate?
