I've got a old ibanez rg that I was gonna sell but she's pretty beat and don't think ill get much for her. Now my idea is to get it refinished and keep it(doubt I'd recoup cost in resale). Thinking something flashy, no graphics but bright bold paint finish with no relic. Want the brand new look to it. I'm looking for suggestions on who to use and even ideas for the finish. My heads swimming from looking at so many different things. Thanks!!!! JoeV

Can't recommend Stike enough - just do a google search for his work. Excellent communication, reasonable and POSTED prices (no surprises), great turnaround and attention to detail.

Here's one he painted and flaked for me:

I had Marty bell do this. Excellent work and had it back to me within a week

Thanks everyone!!!! Can't believe how nice the pieces in the pics are. Anxious to get this done now!!

Pat Wilkins did a restore for me on one of my EBMM EVH's. HE did the entire body front/back plus all the prep work. Only charged $300 and when it came back you couldn't tell it wasn't the factory finish.

Actually, I should have mentioned that Lee at GMW is doing refinish work again now and his work is stellar!

Wilkins, Marty Bell, Bravo, RS Guitarworks… all are great. RS and Bravo do nitro, if that matters to you.

Thank you all for the replies. Can't say enough how much I appreciate this forum and everyone on it. Thanks!!!
