Guitar string you prefer and why?

Used D'Addario 10-46 for well over twenty years, never liked Gibson, Fender or Ernie Ball strings, dull and lifeless to my ears and don't last long either.
Recently changed to webstrings and I love them, cheap as chips and they last longer than D'Addario to me and sound the same

Ernie Balls 10-52's, I have used 10-46's a long time ago. I have never used another brand, I've never been unhappy with EB's

Drop C Tuning = EB Not Even Slinkies on my Ibanez

10-46 Elixers for Standard tuning.

Bending Elixers against the SS fret wire sounds nothing short of magic on my Modern.

I'm liking D'Addario 9.5 - 44 on my Strat and Dunlop 10-46 on Les Pauls

Another DR fan here. I'm preferential to the Pure Blues myself. 12-52 on the LP (C# or D std), and 11-50 on the Strat (E and Eb std, DADFAD/DADGAD).

Ernie Balls for everything:

1. Available everywhere, every town in every country (like Marlboro lites and Heineken)
2. Cheap
3. Feel right.
4. Always come out of the packet fresh..this is a big deal living on the equator.
5. I am a closet EBMM fanboi.....the strings go with the t shirt

I use a bunch of different gauges:

10-46 EB's on my Satriani JS2000, tuned to standard E
11-48 EB's on my RG tuned to E, because the thicker gauge seems to help the synth track better
11-52 DM's on my SC420 and PRS SE Korina, tuned to D standard
14-68 DA's on my PRS Mushok baritone, tuned to B standard

I've been using Boomers, or D'Addario for 25 years. Prefer the boomers, but D'addarios seem to last a little longer.
