Guitar winked at me! Why, why, why? NGD

Now I’ve got to buy it! I don’t need it. I really don’t like the style, SG, but it says I need to buy it. Resistance is futile.

The guitar is 2 1/2 hours away from me, but I plan on going down tomorrow to pick it up. The seller says he’ll work with me on the price a little bit.

Is GC the seller? Haven't budged on used prices in years.
 
Yeah, GC. Hopefully no one will buy it out from under me in the next 24 hours but at $4000 it’s not something everybody buys every day.

It’s not as if I am looking to add to my musical equipment collection. I just saw it and something told me I need to buy it, so what the fuck, I’ve got some green beans laying around.
 
three pickup gibsons are the way to go, although i just use the bridge...
 
Thats a pretty special instrument in my estimation.

I still think of the ones that winked and I didn’t budge.
 
I don't think that the upper strap button is stock. Should have been on the back I believe.
 
It will need a little work. But I adjusted the trust rod, new strings & intonation, and a new three-way switch. The frets are in great shape and everything on it is original. He took $300 off because the switch only works on the neck pick up and threw in a hard shell case. I took the strap knob and put it where it originally was, no neck dive. it weighs 7 pounds exactly.

Edit; I used deOxit on the switch and it works fine now.
 
Was there some kind of routing issue? I remember seeing something like that in the description.

The middle pick-up sounds thin, looking at the pick-up, it’s upside down! !!!
