Besides the Strat, Tele, and LP, of course! I've got a 7 Guitar Stand that I'm looking to fill up with more diversity than a social studies textbook cover. Let the recommendations roll with pics. I'll start. Here's my Strat!

For blues rock i like Gibson semihollow body guitars. SG's are cool too but i have always had tuning issues with em.

I've played some 335's that sounded incredible, but I could never gel with the look or feel of that big ass body shape.

If you dont like the big body 335's but love the sound I recommend giving the es 339, es 359, and the es 356 a try. They sound great and they're not so bulky.

Blues rock? I think a Danelectro or other laminate body style guitar, like a Reverend slingshot or Rocco, maybe an old Supro. Nothing sounds like they do, and they are just the right guitar for some tunes.

Agreed on the 335 scene... What about the bigass Gretsch semi-hollows?

Are all of the bodies the same size? I'm assuming the more expensive ones have higher quality wood and a more swanky appearance.

Another vote for Danelectro...I use my $300 U-2 right alongside an Anderson for my blues gig and it totally holds its own. Unique, great sounding guitars.

Blues rock like Bonamassa?

Les Paul
Stratocaster
Telecaster
335

My...
Strat
Epi LP Jr double cut single p90
Les Paul

I'll be selling my Epi Paul, and Gibbie SG to grab a Gibson Midtown Custom. A poor mans 339!

Those Midtown Customs look nice, please let us know when you get it.

A 335 style was the one guitar I really thought missing from the OP's list and its missing from my guitar stable as well. :(

Badass guitars imo. My cousin bought one to take back to Argentina, so I got to play it a bit. Great through a blues Jr, as well as my surreal. Burstbuckers are the right pickup for this guitar hands down. The neck is awesome, set up perfect out of the box, fretboard felt just like ebony to me?!
Gibson nailed this, I'm selling my Epi Paul I've had forever, and my SG for this. No regrets, can't wait!

What's the consensus on the Richlite fretboards on the Midtown Customs?

Telecaster
339 or 335
Strat
Strat
Les Paul
Resonator or Danelectro (open tuning for slide)
Decent Acoustic...

Welcome to the party.

It's been used on all the cheaper Martin Accoustics for years... seems if it was unreliable somehow, we'd hear about it. Or at the least they'd stop using it? :dunno:

Feels. plays like Ebony... smooth, dense...

I'd look into something with P90s, I have a 335 and a Junior with P90s, The Junior is used quite a bit, I put a set of Fralins in it and it just kills. Slices and dices and make Julian fries.
