I'd be fine with a human size target in the real world.
I use AARP recommended JHP too.

I mean I am sure you are so skilled you only take classes where all the students are "Real" operators.

I started out about 6 years ago taking concealed carry classes ( actual ones, not the bullshit class you take to get your permit, though I took it too), combat and defensive pistol classes from a guy who is a retired ( 20 years) Marine raider and USMC trainer, and just recently retired as a police captain after 20 years in Black Jack. He has a facility up in Foley. Then I started taking shotgun courses and carbine courses and shooting 3 gun with him. He's had some national guys come through and his classes always have a mix of new or newer people and lots of military and police. I also train sometimes with a group of guys I met through a guy at work. All Iraq and Afghanistan combat vets. I feel really stupid around those guys but I usually hold my own. Especially considering they are in their 20s and 30s and I am in my 50s. Really I am a shotgun junkie though and I have been training and taking shotgun courses for about 30 years now. I am under no illusion that I am training for anything specific, I just enjoy it.
