When do they plan on hiring a new vocalist?

I'm tiptoeing here, but I just don't think it can be that hard to find a drummer for old GnR tunes. Appetite has a ton of great signature drum work, but I don't think it's that technically challenging. I absolutely love Steven's and Matt's work on the first few albums. I totally lost interest after UYI I&II.

I am guessing the current drummer couldn't stand playing the same old shit anymore. He's been sitting through the long ass extended sets with Slash soloing way too long over everything and anything for over a decade and just needs a break. I can't listen to anything they do anymore. The first few albums were great. Since then.. there really aren't any albums to speak of! Adler's swing was never replicated either.

Because he's a total headcase and professionally unreliable, even compared to Axl!

Based on what intel? He seems to have been able to keep sober for years now and is regularly out there still doing it. I think they fear he won't be reliable or physically able to play marathon shows full of musical filler.

He's got a long history of multiple relapses into various addictions. Countless reports on the rock/metal news sites over the years. He was on a celebrity rehab show for multiple seasons for crying out loud. 5 minutes of watching that will tell anyone how far gone he is.

I saw Steven at NAMM a while back. He was talking with Rikki Rocket at his booth and I was standing right there. He seemed ok. His stroke is still apparent from his speech, but he had a perma-grin on his face and seemed pretty with it.

That was all over a decade ago now.. the guy's speech is messed because of the stroke. He can still play though and let's be honest, none of the other guys they brought in have his rythm and sense of timing.

I agree 100% but at this point, I'd settle for Matt Sorum

Adler is a badass, he walked on the wildside and survived. He's lived the life of 10 men and has the hardest hitting snare except for Neil Peart ive ever heard.
Its a miracle any of them are alive.

I was kind of hoping they would reach out to my friend Jimmy D'Anda. He just finished touring with Lynch Mob
