I think I've made the decision I want one.
I've got a number of fine amps, including the VH4S. I've had a V in my life longer than any other one amp (outside of a couple combo boutiquers I've had for 15+ years). I play my Bogner 20thA more, and that's only because of the fact it's more organic. I love the precision and tone and beauty of the V, absolutely love it. I use it, but I don't play it, if that makes any sense. I can with more ease convey my soul through my 20thA than I can my V, with the V, I have to know in advance what it is I am looking for - and play it right. It sounds incredible, but I'm left kinda thinking it wasn't as FUN to play as some other amps.
Looseness.
I think I am a fan of looser more playable amps. I believe the Hagen was created to fill this niche. I am going to buy one, and keep my V, just in case, but if this is Diezel's response to the looser, grindier, chewier, raunchier tones out there, with a signature Diezel stamp of family approval and inherent tone, it's a no brainer for me
Peace,
V.
EDIT: Just wanted to get this out there, maybe get some feedback from the Peters, tell me if my assumption is correct, etc. etc.
