Does anyone know what the tonal differences are suppposed to be between the new Hagen and say the VH4 or the Herbert, especially in channels 2-4 on each respectively? Peter, do you wish to chime in? :) I have been playing a Herbert for about 4 years now and am curious about the Hagen. It is more or less saturated than the Herbert and VH4, or how does it compare? Can anyone help with any input here please? I just bought a Bogner Twin Jet (before news of the Hagen came out) to run stereo with my Hebert, and now I am wondering if I might have to sell and buy a Hagen!

The Hagen is an improved version of the VH4 but You
cannot compare them. The VH4 is more rough and the
Hagen has it´s own "modern" vibe. That´s the reason
we continue to build the VH4 for a while.

My English sucks, so the guys on the baord will explain
after the first bacht of Hagen will be out. We start to build
the Hagen in the middle of June and will deliver step by step.

BACK to square one as to what we can expect from the Hagen

We just gotsta wait... :dunno:

Thanks for the input Peter! Don't worry about it...your English is better than my German by a long shot! I can't wait to hear the Hagen and have a feeling my Bogner is getting sold so that I can run a Hagen with my Herbert!

The Hagen is different than, let's say the VH4. It may also be much different than, let's say the Schmidt. You could even go further in that the Hagen is also different than, let's say the Herbert. However if you dare you could even venture out and, let's say it is different than the Herbert. I would also like to add that the Hagen is very much different than, let's say Einstein. But in the very end you could logically conclude that the Hagen is very different than the Pignose - it's a Diezel.

Hope that helps the cause. :)

No stereo version but I promise to take
care about the 19 inch stuff during this
year.

Horrible news. I mean, simply horrible. I commit to the Hagen...and now I KNOW there's rack gear coming.

I'm done for. Might as well claim insolvency right now. Game over. This is going to be an expensive year

PS - the only things I lease are the things I can write off for my business - unfortunately, my creative director; errrr, "accountant", ahem, may have a tough time with this one
