Hall of Fame 2 reverb pedal

Hey guys, I accidentally applied 18v to my 9v Hall of Fame 2 pedal. Now when I press on the button to turn it on, it is very loud. I do not see any way to adjust the level of the pedal? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Uh oh...I almost blew my wah the other day over a similar issue. Normally I would have a 9V adapter laying around. I grabbed one and started to plug it in but checked it first randomly. It was a 12V one. I knew better but posted a thread on tech corner seeking clarification. No bueno...

You likely damaged it, pretty straight forward.

You have to also be careful with pedals that have built-in charge pumps. Just because you have a pedal that runs "at" 18v does not mean for sure that it will run "from" 18v.

Some pedals have a wider range of acceptable input voltage.

Put a 9v battery in it and see what happens.
