Hannys are my favorite ESPs by far (I have 3 of them), and it just so happens I love Slayer, so I emailed the folks to get prices & more info. Let me just say that while I can afford some overpriced things because of nostalgia and love, well, damn... If any of you are in a place where one of these is on your menu here's the information. If you buy one maybe let me fly in & play it for an hour? Ha! To be real though, many of them have actually sold. Wow.

From the seller-

"Here are Kathryn’s prices. Every item comes with a detailed signed letter from Kathryn Hanneman. If you have any questions please feel free to email or call me. Thanks

1. BC RICH Bich Custom Shop. 6 String. Translucent Black finish, cloud abalone inlays, neck through. Mid 1980s. Signed on the back of the headstock by Bernie Rico Jr. This is one of Jeff's personal guitars. $15k

2. ESP "Hanneman" Custom Shop. This was custom made for Jeff in the 2000s and used as a backup guitar with Slayer. It has Jeff's specific inlays of the SS and Totenkopf. It comes with the original case and guitar strap. $40k

3. ESP "Grey Camo" Custom Shop. This was custom made for Jeff in the 2000s and used live with Slayer. It comes with the original case and guitar strap. It has Jeff's specific inlays of the SS and Totenkopf. This is the guitar that is featured on Jeff's grave marker. $75k

4. Gibson 2008 Les Paul Standard. Gibson gave this to Jeff not too long before he passed in hopes he would revamp his original Les Paul that was used on Show No Mercy. Unfortunately Jeff did not get to do that. Gibson actually altered this one for Jeff with a Kahler trem. Comes in the original case. $10k

5. BC RICH Bich 1980. 10 String. Named "BLONDIE". Unfortunately there are no photos of Jeff with this, however, his wife is sure it was used in the beginning of South of Heaven to help create the sound that they wanted. They used about 6 guitars to create that sound. Comes in the original case (Not BC Rich). $25k

6. BC RICH Bich NJ Series. 6 String. Black Finish. Neck through. Mid 1980s.
This was one of Jeff's first guitars. It was used live and comes in the original case. $15k

7. ESP EC "Les Paul" Custom Shop. This was custom made for Jeff in the 2000s and was one of Jeff's personal guitars. It has Jeff's specific inlays of the SS and Totenkopf. Comes in the original case. $25k

8. ESP Bass. Custom Shop. This was custom made for Jeff in the 2000s and was one of Jeff's personal guitars. Used in the studio. Jeff used this one to compose a lot of his own demos in his home studio. It has Jeff's specific inlays of the SS and Eagle. Comes in the original case. $10k

9. ESP "Raiders". Custom Shop. This was custom made for Jeff in the early to mid 1990s and used live with Slayer. It comes with the original case and guitar strap. As you can see in the photos, Jeff had replaced the "Peace Sign" sticker for two "Diabolus" stickers after Diabolus In Musica was made. This is one of Jeff's most recognized and played guitars in the history of Slayer. Some Slayer videos that it can be seen in are: Seasons In The Abyss, Serenity In Murder, I Hate You, and God Hates Us All. SOLD

10. ESP "Fleck" Urban Camo. Custom Shop. This was custom made for Jeff in the 2000s and used live with Slayer. It has Jeff's specific H Dagger inlays. It was damaged at a show when it tipped over and fell on its face. This was later sent to ESP for repair, but after Jeff passed away, ESP thought it best to not repair it and leave it in its original state, out of respect for Jeff. ESP then returned this guitar back to his wife. It comes with the original case. $50k

11. ESP "Fearless". Custom Shop. This was custom made for Jeff in the 2000s and would have been used as a backup for live performances. It has Jeff's specific H Dagger inlays. It comes with the original case. $40k

12. BC Rich Custom Blue Crackle. Custom finish. There is a photo of Jeff in a Kerrang magazine with this guitar in his music room in our house. Jeff used this one to practice with and compose a lot of his own demo’s. $25k

13. ESP Heineken Custom. Custom Shop. This was custom made for Jeff in the early 2000s and used live with Slayer. This guitar is another one of Jeff's most recognized and played guitars in the history of Slayer. It comes with the original case. SOLD

It comes with the original case. It has Jeff's specific inlays of the SS and 1st SS Panzer Division. $75k

16. Marshall Artist 3203 Head and 4x10 Cabinet. This was used by Jeff in his home studio from the early 1990s onwards. $10k

17. 3 Marshall Hanneman Heineken JCM800 100 Watt heads. Faded SOLD $15k for Hot Ticket Deux. $12k for the other. Only 6 were made. These were Jeff's personal heads used on tour and in the studio with Slayer."

I spoke with the seller today and he is a very cool dude, before you guys bitch about prices this is not what the seller wants, these guitars are sentimental to Katherine and if she can't find a buyer at these prices she will just keep them.

A few of these were up for sale about four years ago at around 12k and no one really bid. I think a few were sold to some dude in a crappy band.

So just wanted to put this info out there before people started crap talking the seller without knowing what the deal was.

Don't you own a few?

I totally get it & more power to her if she can get anywhere near those prices. Before I got the response I was thinking in the very low 5 digit range, and there was a slim chance I might swing one. At that honestly one of the JCM800s is kind of interesting..

Heineken Custom is my favorite guitar Jeff played and always wished ESP would make a sig guitar of it.
Do you know how much the Heineken Custom sold for? I suspect it was the highest $ of all.

Yes, I got a few from Jeff and Armand directly and then we sold a few. So if you seen any of Jeff's guitars out there besides the ones Kathy sold good chance they went through Armands or my hands.

I heard it was around what they are asking for the digi camo guitar, maybe a little more. Literally sold instantly.

I see, yeah I figured it'd sell instantly.

RIP Jeff

I'm surprised that Kerry King or even Scott Ian or Hetfield, etc. didn't pick one of these up. Would be cool to have a guitar from someone that you knew and had a connection with.

With that said, I love the idea of real players and Slayer fans being able to have a piece of history.

When I think of Jeff, I picture the Heineken logo ESP or the Black Flag Jackson. The Jackson is perhaps the most iconic of Hanneman's guitars. I wonder if his wife still has that one.

Not Jeff's But i own 4 Ltd's 2 JH600's and that one is #18 Tribute ,some how some way when the time is right i will find a way to afford one of Jeff's personal guitars ..🤘🤘
