^Oh wow. That is special. Hope that shit stays in remission bro. Fuck cancer.
Thank you.
She's doing really well now. She had to go through two serious rounds of hardcore chemo (one of which lasted 42 weeks), and is taking tamaxofin (spelling?) Chemo pills for the next 5 to 10 years. She had to have a double masectomy which had a lot of complications for her and emergency surgery afterwards. It's been a rough road for us and our two little kids.
FUCK CANCER

*UPDATE*

So this guitar is getting returned to guitar center.

Not because there is anything wrong with it, it's a fine guitar for $200, in fact it's better than it should be for the price, way way better.

It's going back because I just learned last night that:

My wife is getting me a PRS SE Mark Holcomb SVN................
.

:giggle: ???
That's awesome bro. BTW Cancer Sucks! Wait until you get the PRS! You will be blown away. I just got the six-string version a few weeks ago and I'm impressed. The pickups are great! No need to change them and if you are just playing in drop A the strings that come with the guitar should be perfect. Not sure what the factory tuning is on the 7, but on the 6 its tuned to drop C with 10-52's which I pulled the C up to D and its perfect! As long as you have 10 - 59's on the seven for Drop A tuning you should be good to go!

Fuck cancer bro. It wrecked my wife and almost got me a few years back. My treatment was awesome praise God. Thyroid cancer..stage 4….found out I had multiple sclerosis and cancer at the same time. My treatment consisted of biopsy…thyroidectomy with a bunch of lymph nodes as well…then they had me swallow a capsule of radioactive iodine…been g2g ever since…kinda.

Yeah they sure look like sweet guitars.
The SVN comes with 10-64 strings and I believe it's tuned to drop A. Guess I'll be returning a set of the 10-59's I bought.

It's a bitch. My wife went through hell since the begining of 2021 when she was diagnosed. She had to have lymph nodes removed in her right armpit. Her cancer was hormone driven and IDC triple positive stage 2. She went through hell but handled it like a fucking warrior. It messed our kids up pretty badly.
First the covid lockdowns messed them up then they find out mom had cancer.
I was utterly terrified and it caused me to shut down and affected how I am when I go out in public. I'm really defensive now and super protective of my wife and kids.

I think I found the one im gonna get.
If it's still available on Wednesday, this is the magical beast.

Absolutely understand. We had been married for a year when these idiots here discovered it, called in hospice and told me to make funeral arrangements for her because she had less than a month….all without a biopsy. Got her to Pittsburgh and even though it was hell she’s alive. Don’t wish that on anyone.
