So, some time last year I heard about Harley Benton, which is the name given to the own brand ripoffs by Thomann, the huge German cyberstore.

Now, everyone's raving about how great their cabs are, apparently better than a Marshall, with V30s, very cheap.

but since they're ripping off Marshall cabs with obviously some degree of skill, maybe their wide variety of Boss inspired pedals are good.

Anyone know more about this?

Their cabs look cool. A nice straight cab with V 30's for about 460 US dollars.

It's even cheaper in Europe, £196 currently, that's with the exchange rates at a terrible rate for the Uk pound. It was about £140 at one point. (for the 212 V30 cab, about £300 for a 412)

The only problem Is I'm, in Florida and shipping from them to me would be beastly expensive. :aww:

Harley Benton
Boston Engineering
Beta Aivin

all the same thing, I think you can find Beta Aivin pedals in the USA

i bought their noise gate - NG-1 i think it is, 24 euros.. works like a charm, and despite how cheap it is , doesn't really colour the tone imo

not sure about their other effects, but would think they're ok,

I tried the "powerplan". The first time i plugged it in there was no power at all. Sent it back and got a new one. But there were some parts not fixed!!! in the box so I sent it back, too. The third one worked but there was too much noise. Than I bought a T-Rex Fueltank Junior and it´s perfect.
The Harley Benton Strings are ok and cheap so I use them most of the time

So I think it´s worth a try :)
