Guys need some help. Is it possible to set up a harmonizer to do a true two guitar sounding lead? I can get it to do octaves but looking for like a third or whatever dual solos typically are. When I choose 3rd some notes are right and some are off. What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated. Think bringing on the heartbreak, dont believe in love solo, etc. Thanks.

Sounds like you might not be using an intelligent harmonizer? Basically there are two types, intelligent and fixed. A fixed type harmonizer will only harmonize up or down to whatever interval you tell it to regardless of whether or not the harmonized note would be in the key you're playing in. An intelligent harmonizer on the other hand, you'd set it to what key you're playing in and the harmonizer will use a harmony correct to the key you're in.

Hey thanks for the heads up. this is what I need to understand. I have to see if the GT10 by Boss is smart or dumb. I know you can choose the major and minor. Thanks again. Anyone have a GT10 and program the harmonizer?

You should be able to use that for what you're trying to do. Just use the Harmonist setting and not the pitch shifter.
