I'm looking to get a octave pedal that's good for Boston and Thin Lizzy tones. I know of the EHX pitchfork and Boss Harmonizer. Anything else? Which one is better for old school, harmony sounds. What pedals should I look at?

TC just came out with one that looks pretty great. Small, simple too!

I got a pitchfork to replace my ancient dying Whammy, but it was different enough that I haven't ditched the whammy yet as expected. I found that the pitchfork was better for chords and clean/crunch stuff, but for big heavy high gain riffs a la Mastodon or whatever, that I still preferred the whammy. I find there is something extra frequency-wise with the pitchfork that just doesn't work as well with high gain, but don't know enough to be able to describe what exactly it is. Maybe I'll do a video on it soon and you guys can tell me what is what! For old school stuff the pitchfork would be great though I think. Cheers
