Just picked up this 100 watter. Sounds great. Works great. Came with the mod to make the modes on the clean channel footswitchable. I took a peek inside and saw what appears to have been some after market modifications.

Please take a look at these photos and tell me if

1. These were changes made to make the modes footswitchable
2. These are other mods to affect the tone
3. It came this way from the factory

If these are a part of the mods for the footswitch then so be it, but if they are tone altering mods, I may want it converted back to stock.

Thanks!
Jeff

Yes, it´s an older model where we did some changes

Thank you. As long as the changes were made by you it's all good.

BTW, for anyone interested in trying NOS glass, I popped an RFT 12AX7 in V1 and it sounds great. All the other positions are either JJs or Rubys.

Peter, any chance I could get a tube chart that tell me the different preamp positions?

It has the same tube chart as the Herbert available
on our website.

Thanks again sir! One last nit picky question. When I power ON the amp, the blue master light flashes briefly. Is that normal?

Just want to make sure everything is running as it should. This amp smokes! Got to crank it up a bit today.

Although I haven't played the Einstein yet, my schmidt does a similar thing when i turn the amp on (ie standby isn't disengaged yet for playing). The channel LED lights up for half a second and then turns off for about a second or two then the channel LED lights up and stays lit. for as long as you have the amp on for.

Seems completely normal to me.
