I love the Road King rig. The tolex option looks great!

Since everybody is looking at the Hamer Cali's, here's some close ups. Three USA Elites and one USA standard.

Hey cool guitars. What can you tell me about the single coil neck position tone on those 27 fret Hamers ? Is it odd sounding because of the unusual placement and angle ? Balance well with the humbucker ?

thanks

They sound and work great. The two flame bodies have EMG SA pups, while the other two have SD Cool Rails. Awesome sounds in both cases. Angle and placement has not caused any issues for me.

I love showing pictures like these to my wife to prove how "in control", I am. Killer stuff!

+1 but actually my friends and fellow musicians think I am more nuts than my Wife does, my wife is very understanding actually.

Love that Fender Tweed Deluxe, BTW....

For those who care, if you listen to the two songs in my sig, "This Rage is On" was recorded using only the amber Cali with the EMG 81/SA's, "Visions" was recorded using only the PRS Custom 24 with EMG 81/85's. Soldano SLO on one side, my Tri/2:90 rack on the other side, Mesa RoadKing in the middle of the mix for both rhythms and solos. All three tracks recorded at the same time and blended. No boosting, only pure tube tone goodness. The solos were fun, can you say HAND CRAMP after a few takes of each?!?!?!

OH MY GOSH! At this point I'm repeating other peoples' compliments....but>
*HOLY COW....that is some sexy red on that Mesa set up!
*I have the same Mesa 4x12 with the gold-jute cloth like that. For 1 second I thought I had a chance here.....
*HOLY COW....that orange Hiwatt gets me excited!
*HOLY COW....those Californians., especially the one on the far left......are amazing examples of my favorite Hamer model.
Well done man.....your choice and style of gear is awesome.

Never should have sold the 9100 I had, It was very cool
It's funny you say that because if my 2:90 ever went down I would slide that Marshall into my rack without hesitation, it is an awesome power amp. Nice and warm.

Badass!

I don't know what you guys are all raving about.

The Marshall micro half stack is the centerpiece here. It should have been placed on the floor in the middle of the room, not so dangerously placed where it is

I was wondering when somebody was going to notice that little thing, I put it there as a joke,

Might as well post my newly received Jackson Stars "Jake" Kelly neck-thru model. Came in today and had a new set of EMG 81/85's put in shortly after. Got it used off ebay. Plays and sounds great. Don't ask me what makes it a "Jake" model over the others, I don't have a clue.  The seller claimed it is the paint job of candy apple red and black.
