Have a no-GEQ Mark II or III? The 1960TV is your answer.

For any of you with a IIC+ (and probably also a III), ESPECIALLY those of you with no-GEQ models, I HIGHLY recommend trying out a GB loaded Marshall 1960TV cab- and don't be shy about new production. I had a pair of 2013s and just bought a new pair of 2024s and they KILL it with the C+ / GEQ on or off. IMO it's the answer for no-GEQ amps.

I mostly use greenbacks and barely use the EQ on my III+, just a little tweak, so I can vouch that greenies have a nice sound together with the base sound of the Marks. This is more for rock stuff, though, can't vouch for the chugs.
 
If you keep the gain knob down and use your pick attack to chug, it works suprisingly well.
