I love the hard core virtue signalling over a used amp for sale.

Waiting for Ground Zero to start modding friedman pt’s or the mini Marshall’s

Sound better for way less.
He won’t be doing anymore mods. He’s got his own amplifier line and a backlog at that to now continue to develop and maintain. The demand is simply too high now.

You sure about that?

I don't call people that I personally know getting ripped off, and thinking it's not right, virtue signalling.

When you're ranting about somebody selling a used amp years after it was built I do. But to each their own I guess.

Let me start off that Jeremy can do whatever he pleases and I certainly don’t speak on his behalf.

What I do know for fact in 2024 is that @RedPlated has invested copious money into chassis builds to fulfill insane demand that includes known big artists. Your chances of getting a modded Marshall one off are not zero, but are not prioritized over the backlog of business, custom logos, custom chassis orders, etc. because of time and sustainability. He’s but a tired one man job, even with the help of Jason.

I’m sure if demand is high he’d consider building his own lunchboxes but the days of modding Marshall’s are very small as that means his time isn’t spent on the backlog of orders.

I only asked because I didn't see an official announcement from him is all.

Matt is correct. I have decided to put mods on a hold for a while so that I can build more Hellions. I’ve had quite a spike in demand for them and I’d like to get more into people’s hands. I love doing mods, but the Hellion is my own creation and that’s what is really the most rewarding project to see come to life. The amount of R&D and money I’ve put into it is also pretty significant. It’s the culmination and achievement I’ve strived for over the past few years. For these reasons it’s important to me to build more of them.

I would like to still do a mod here and there to stay sharp with them, but it’ll be very limited. None of this is necessarily permanent. But I feel like this is the natural progression with this type of thing.

I would like to do a production version of the MOAB, if/ when time allows it.

The custom designed amps are a better amplifier than a modded Marshall in every way. As Jeremy said it’s the natural progression.

Marshall boards are not laid out optimally for noise or for mounting modded components. They’re also more labor intensive and some require repair for underlying problems before modding. None of that exists for a custom model from the ground up, The natural progression is SUPPOSED to be going away from mods and to new chassis builds. Jeremy is doing it right.

Clip sounds bad, playing is typical slop of what you hear in guitar center every saturday.
