Heads up on a Charvel - bad GC listing

Looks like it took a hit during shipping., finish crack from neck pocket, all around front of the body. And a ding too

A bit disappointed as the guy I deal with there is usually good.

Shame too, as it’s a great year & great color

Nope, that's not a hit from anything.

That's a 'thing' that happened in the factory, by the morons on the line. They didn't let the guitars finish 'set' properly before putting the next coats on. So, there are quite a few of these out there from the 09 batch. My 09 Candy Plum SoCal has a few very faint cracks that you have to look very closely to see. None are through the finish though. Some, had gotten so bad they actually caused the paint to come off in chunks. Many of these went back and Fender re finished them under warranty. Obviously this one, and mine did not.
Still can be a killer guitar (mine is) but they all should be discounted properly. Since I got mine for 650 I'm not complaining.

It’s not a $1500 guitar at this point

They reused the same pics (and have it listed as a fixed bridge too).
There’s also some decent fret sprout

Those cracks have been there for years unfortunately. It's too bad that the original buyers didn't get them fixed while they were all still under warranty.

Anybody having problems viewing their GC wish list items? They sometimes have links to the actual items (mostly the new stuff but nothing used). I've sent their IT people a message with the question I have asked numerous times: why are you making it difficult to give you money? I know not to expect good things from them, but it just seems to be getting worse.

The top one is link-clickable (that a word?) but the used amp is not. Doesn't even tell you which GC store it comes from, you have to do a nationwide search and hope you can find the one you saved.
