Earlier this year I traded my black Marshall headshell to Nick (dawnofdreamx97) for one he had in orange. Well I decided that the "traffic cone" color, and other issues needed correcting...
So a Marshall parts order, and much labor later....
What I started with...
After removing the tolex...
Much sanding, scrapping, and filling later...
I made a new rear cover out of birch to replace the MDF one.
All wrapped and ready for the amp...
Back in the stack ready to go...
I wanted that late '60's "vintage correct" look, and that is what I got.
I want to thank Jim from Scumback for his tips on this. Jim's many valuable threads on recovering helped me tremendously.
