The chorus in the ISP Theta Pro is beyond-beautiful; tastiest for clean geetar that I've ever heard.

Yes, very '80s; 4 voice chorus.

Same with the other effects though I don't/won't use most of them besides comp, pitch shifter and delay and chorus. By today's effects standards these are basic, classic effects.

The preamp section is where the magic happens, though tweaking it is tedious with with small screen, reminds me of my ADA MP-1. I still haven't "mastered" it, the Stryper sound is fun to play but not the sound I'm after, and some of the factory presets sound like there's a blanket over the cabs while others sound amazing...so I know it's in there.

I'm making a list of the factory presets I like, then I plan to put the preamp settings in a spreadsheet for review and analysis, to give me a good starting point for my own patches.

The direct outs with cab emulation to my PA sounds great.

The cab emulation is also basic with a few choices, but they sound good to me. I tried the stage outs in mono to the power section of my Catalyst 100 with the cab sims off and it sounded very good. My ISP Stealth Pro power amp (solid state) should be delivered today, and I want to try the stage out, mono, cab sim off, to the Stealth Pro into my guitar cabs.

Definitely old school "rack in a floorboard" compared to state of the art digital modelers and tone captures, but that's what I wanted, and found one used in great condition owned by a pro musician.

Sweet hinted at a new ISP signature analog preamp pedal coming soon which is on my radar.

Cheers!
