I think that sounds pretty damn good!! And I want that guitar!!!

I love the Placater model. Sounds killer with a power amp and cab.

Not at all a fan of the Choptones empire. One can do this all themselves on the unit with some time and using one's ears. These guys are just taking what is in the box and changing the parameters on it that are already there for you to modify. They are turning a profit from it. I get it but honestly, their BE-50 pack was absolute crap for the 75$ that they charge for it. I had better luck with the actual amp and tweaking my III to what I heard with the amp running through the loadbox and IR.

If you don't have time or knowledge to do this, then all good.....spend your money but if you have some time, do it yourself to tune to what you like to hear.

I bought a ChopTones helix pack for another model amp, and it completely changed my opinion of Helix. I struggled to get the sounds I wanted when I treated the model how I would the actual amp. ChopTones presets showed me some tricks I didn’t think of, well worth $25. It doesn’t matter if you have all the right tools at your disposal if you don’t know how to use them. Knowledge is worth money, and saving me time is worth money, IMO.

The Placated is incredibly easy to get good sounds out of though, compared to some of the other models.

Which Choptones model was it?

Choptones are some of the greatest Helix tones around. You can modify them to taste.

There are some excellent IR packs in some of them also.

That's why I forked over the $450 for a PodGo. Same tones as the big Helix but with less routing options. But the thing is good enough for me,

Yup, my buddy just got a Pod Go as well yesterday. He's trying to find his "sound" as he plays it through the loop of a Mesa Mini Recto. But we loved the tones we heard from others use the Placater and Revv amps.

Those are easy to get good tones from as well as the Badonk sim. I found the Mesa Mark sim in the Helix's to be tricky to dial in.
