White one is Fender American body with USA Custom guitars compound radius neck and hotrails...
Green one is all USA Custom guitars- basswood body, asymmetrical neck with Wolfgangs..
USA Custom is top notch stuff.. I like them better than Warmoth, but they are similar.

If you're patient, order one of these...

That looks awesome Josh! How does it sound? I have my 5th TAG that should deliver to my house by tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

My favorite one, Chad :D

Have a Cobra S on order for May (or early June) delivery

What are your specs for the Cobra? I will post a new TAG day by tomorrow or Saturday. Be on the lookout.

Nice :D

Cobra S (Mahogany/Maple 24.75 scale)
Natural black w/"binding"
Reverse headstock (black)
Natural colored back
Even taper +.05 (Mahogany?Rosewood)
Jumbos
H2+/H1-
Chrome Vintage Trem/Locking tuners
Creme Rings and switch tip

Really looking forward to this one...my arthritis/tendonitis/carpal tunnel, really sucks these days, and I'm hoping the shorter scale will help a bit
It will help. I'm starting to really dig mine. Has a great feel to it. Quite a bit different from the Drop Top. Nice chunky tone as well. Definitely a unique guitar.

So i'm really into getting myself an oldschool hotrod superstrat. So far i'v narrowed it down to a Charvel San Dimas or a Luxxtone Marchete 22.

I want one in cream white, and would prefer a reversed headstock with a maple neck.

Copper hardware. Rocking with Ray in the 'bay area now.

My Luxxtone is one of, if not THE, best playing guitar I've owned.
Been playing for over 30 years.
And their customer service is tops!

I've got this packed away here somewhere. Special run that Charvel CS did for the Music Zoo. Seems like it has a big whiskey dent on it from falling off a stand at some point. Could hook you up with this......(shameless selling spam)!

Jerry @Luxxtone has the Super Strat thing nailed down too. He can build you what you want. Make it special....

Since you tossed that one out there, what are you wanting for it?

I'll need to go get it out and get some pics. I did replace the FR with one I got from Chubtone and a 42mm brass block. Had to do a little filing in the cavity to get the block room to roam. It's a smoking guitar though and very heavy. I'll let you know and toss it up in the 4-Sale bargain bin.

I would go Luxxtone custom build or Carvin I got a Jason Becker Carvin it's Killer great bang for the $ but no resale value.

Again, I recommend Luxxtone (self-admitted fanboi). Truly the first guitar brand that made me put down my Ibanez guitars because of superior quality and playability. Hands down the best guitars I have ever played. Jerry should be a registered neck magician.

Apples and oranges. One is a mass produced with lesser quality components and the other is hand made to spec. A better comparison would be a Custom Shop Charvel and Luxxtone...at that point it's a toss-up.

And FWIW, Custom Shop Charvels and Luxxtones can certainly be in the same price range...

Suhr Pro series...same as his full on custom guitars and exceptional quality at the pricepoint IMO. Available with Gohto 510 or Floyd, with maple caps or without...SS frets I believe now on all Pro series guitars too. I have 3 and all 3 are excellent guitars especially the Mahogany body/neck maple cap ones.

Ok,this axe IS exactly what I had in mind! WOW. And the copper hardware also. Perfect guitar.

How much would such beauty be at Luxxtone?

One hundred billion dollars!!

No, it's a little less than that.

I was patient and orderd this Charvel Custom shop lightly aged nitro. Birdseye neck, prepro neck specs. This guitar made me sell off everything else... FWIW, the neck is not dirty, it's the Birdseye grain.

Buy used. This was listed on FB last week: $1,000 for a killer GMW. The price is pretty good. I wouldn't pay much more for one.
