HELP!!! Aftermarket pickups for G&L S500 RMC (WHAT FITS?!?!)

Hello all... I've searched high and low on the web, and already with the fact that there's not a whole lot on these great guitars out there because hardly no rock stars use them, (except 'ol Jerry, I know) I can't seem to find a damn thing on G&L guitars.. in particular what type of pickups will fit the cavity on an RMC (rear mounted controls) USA G&L. These guitars have no pick guard and showcase a lovely top, but the set back is the pickup cavities are so damn small or routed around the stock single coils, that any other aftermarket replacements won't fit! My G&L came with stock MFD's and I wanted to upgrade to a Seymour Duncan everything axe set, so I ordered them. When I got them, I kinda' eyed them over the existing stock pickups and everything seemed like it would fit fine, it'd be tight, but fine. So I took it to my guy who does all my complex guitar work to have them professionally installed and come to find out they would not fit, in fact they were off by almost 2mm! and the wiring was off too. The MFD's wires run to the left and so a cavity hole is routed to the left for that whereas the SD's run center and with the almost zero clearance, another hole would have to be routed up and down the pickup cavities to accommodate them. So he said could rout and dremel the guitar to make all this work, but said he'd lament it being such a nice axe and possibly devaluing the guitar and as much of a mod freak I am, I had to agree and refrain from moving forward...
- SO MY QUESTION IS... DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY AFTERMARKET ROCK/METAL SINGLE COIL SIZED HUMBUCKING OR ATLEAST ROCK/THRASH SINGLE COILS THAT'LL FIT THIS GUITAR?!?!? PLEASE HELP. I've attached photos of the guitar to give you an idea.. I love you all for any helpful suggestions, thank you.

You can probably order a cover for a Dimarzio sc sized HB for less than $10 and then you would know for sure.
