Why not put together a simple board with all the dirt and fx you need for the gig and then get the Palmer PDI-09 guitar DI to go straight to console?

This suggestion is playing on the assumption that you already have all the necessary pedals to work the gig with.

Cool... I'll look into this... I have the friedman BE-OD pedal

Sorry for the delay....correct on the gig...no amps are allowed at this venue everything goes through the PA.... I was almost thinking of getting a line 6 HD 300 but then I was thinking bite the bullet and get the Atomic 12 ...as I gues this venue will be 4 times a year....

I was gonna suggest the Amplifire. A local Led Zep tribute guitarist uses one and absolutely nails JP's tone. Cannot tell the difference between it and those old Plexis.

Interesting.

So with this you wouldn't need any power? Just get a dirt pedal that you like and done? All power from console and all stage sound via house monitor?

Yup. No need for a power amp or cab. Direct to FOH.

The Palmer PDI-09 is a simple way, that still sounds pretty good tbh, to do this. A more expensive version with way more options is the Two Notes Torpedo Cab. Suhr has the new A.C.E too.

So all you would need is your fave dirt boxes and fx pedals and the speaker simulator/guitar DI would be the last 'pedal' in your chain that then goes to the console.

I use a BE OD pedal into an ADA speaker simulator for rehearsals and backup and it copes admirably

I think you just need to find a speaker simulator box for your end of line pedalboard for your requirements

Kemper is made for this....I know it's not a cheap solution but it's a product you'll use again and again...

Boss Katana head. It slays. Can go direct with no speaker output as well.

Buy any suitable amp from Guitar Center, then return it the next day.

Ooops, did I just say that out loud?

Hopefully some drunken idiot doesn't pour beer all over it.

The Kemper is simply a game changer for me....I profile every amp I own and more....When it's done properly, you can't tell the difference...

Just order one of those FlyRig RK. Good enough for Ritchie, good enough for us mortals. I wouldn't be going Two notes, Kemper etc to get by on one gig, even if it is four times a year. Maybe The Torpedo Live if you really want to spend some money, and then use your own amp and pedalboard.
