I visited a local shop today and seen the Greco flying V pictured below. Appears to be a ash body w/ mahogany neck. I couldn't find any markings, serial #, anything on the guitar itself. The hang tag said late 70's to early 80's made in Japan. I spoke to the owner who I have known for 30 years and he told me he
got it from a collector. I don't doubt him but I would like to know if anyone out there has seen one of these before or knows anything. I tried google and couldn't find one like it.
Thanks in advance.

The look of the groves and the volute at the back of headstock says 70s or early 80s to me

Looks nice! If it plays good and sounds good I would grab it for a fair price

Ok so it is a Greco GV-70 made in Japan. It was listed in Greco's '97 catalog & I seen one that has a serial # that indicates 2002 as the year of production. So maybe late '90- early 2000's? Not a lot of info out there on it. I have had 70's Ibanez "korina" V's & Destroyers in the past and this GV-70 looked and felt equal or maybe even better in terms of construction & craftmanship.
Al, what do you think a fair price would be?
