HELP: Love the music, Hate the vocals.

Growls were an acquired taste for me (and probably a lot of other people)- if you can ease into them for the sake of the music you might find yourself liking them. Maybe try digging into some bands/songs that are a bit less gutteral (but still harsh) and super catchy to start.

Have you ever checked out All That Remains? They have a mixed bag of growls sometimes and clean melodic vocals at others, but I love the entire album “The Order of Things” wore it out. This is a pretty good one off there



I also think Bullet For My Valentine may be up your alley as well, good riffs, good hooks, melodic vocals and dual guitar harmonies all over. The whole Poison album is worth a listen if you’ve never checked them out.
