i keep hearing about this combo but just dont think im an eminence guy.

What did you end up with? I like variety so I went with different speaker in all three cabs. V30s in my Bogner 212, will be using Creambacks in my Stone Age 212 and Lynchbacks in my Splawn 412.

I ended up with a pair that gibson08 suggested and Im very happy. A V30 and a scumback H75 65watter. Sounds very big, full, and crunchy!!

Nah gone quick

Small Blocks are modeled after CELESTION greenbacks, but handle 55 watts. Big Blocks are modeled after CELESTION Heritage 30's, but handle 60 watts. Scott most likely worked with Eminence to match the speakers to his amps. My Splawn 2x12 with Small Blocks and my Quick Rods are some of the best tones I've ever heard, and my band agrees. Now I have a Splawn 4x12 with Small Blocks and it is the perfect balance of vintage and modern tone. The Big Blocks work a little better with the Splawn Nitro.

Lynchbacks or Scumbacks M75/J75 (65 watt) mix or Erocks fave V30/J75.
