Has anyone setup the TC G-Force with Rocktron All Access Midi Controller? I followed the instructions in the (g-force) manual and was able to get the Rocktron to change the presets on the G-force but found myself limited on what effects I can turn on/off within these presets.

I would like to know how I can get the Rocktron to have the ability to turn on/off each effect as needed within these presets. Anyone know of a simple flow chart to set these two units up?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You have to setup both sides, you will have to program the instant access switches on the AA so they sound out a different CC on the midi channel of the GForce. Then you have to setup the GForce and choose which CC corresponds with which fx block.

I have the same setup as this. You need to configure the instant access switches(the ones that turn the effects on and off) to be GLOBAL on the AA. Next go to the G Force and press the I/O button...use the < > arrows to select Control and scroll down with the Parrameter knob. You should see a list of all the effect blocks in a list i,e. Pan, Delay, Chorus etc (can't remember what order they come in). Next scroll using the parrameter knob until the cursor is pointing to Basic Midi (I think) and press the Enter button on the G Force...you will then see the word "Learning" appear where Basic Midi was before. Now press the button on the AA that you want to turn on that effect. You just repeat those steps for each effect..keep in mind that only buttons on the AA that are set to GLOBAL can do this. That should do it, I'm only new to this as well but it has worked for me but I have another problem...if I have an effect tuned on by using one one of these buttons, when I change patches on my amp using one of the other buttons set to Per Preset, the effect that I turned on goes off!

Can anyone tell me if there is any way to avoid the drop out on the G Force when I change patches? In Utility I have set the "Effect mute" to "OFF", and this has improved the problem but it isn't a perfectly seamless change of patches. Any help greatly appreciated. Regards

For the drop issue there should be a "spillover" parameter that should be set to "on." As far as the effect being "on" and then "off" when you change patches you just need to make sure the effect in question is turned "on" in the destination patch. The AA can memorize the state of each IA switch per patch.
