Im hoping very soon to set up a practice space (which I will never use if I dont get a band  :lame: ). Anyways I need some ideas so post some pictures and maybe share your thoughts about PA and setup preferences. I was thinking maybe buy one of those little sheds that come prebuilt. You know the ones that have like a window and a covered front porch with railing. A medium sized one of those would be fine wouldn't it? Maybe one that doesnt have a tin roof. Thanks.

Every now and again we treat ourselves and book this studio in London, awesome!

I have the roughest time finding practice spaces. There's an old run-down loft apartment building here that's own by a doctor who rents out the rooms cheap for storage, bands, whatever. It's apparently no longer zoned for residential use, but we had a great space there for a few years, and handful of bands within our circle of friends sharing the place. But, that doctor has apparently been busted for writing prescriptions and we were all evicted, and the building abandoned since then. I've not been able to find a stable practice location since then. I don't mind paying, but there's nothing out there cheap enough. I don't even know where to look for places.

Where do you live? When I lived in the Twin Cities there were quite a few places that bands could rent. Now we're in a smaller town and we've done everything from jamming at a friend's garage to setting up in a bar (made friends with the owner).
