Help with Diezel vh4 ch 1

hey guys, my vh4 does this strange thing were the volume on ch 1 goes away and comes back if i strum my guitar really hard. all other channels are not affected. time for new preamp tubes? what is currently recommended by diezel? thanks

I had this problem on my VH4 channel 3 when I bought it, had to send it to peter eventually.

Swap the preamp tubes one at a time. My best guess. Otherwise you need to talk to a tech. Do you have a good tech?
