Hey guys, been a while since I've been on here but once again I have to call on the experts. I was walking in a thrift shop and spotted a FSM 432 by Hughes & Kettner which is a 7 pin midi footswitch with built in effects and channel switching. I took the big risk of 10 bucks and brought it home and of course plug it in to my herbie and it is dead...no light no nothing... So my question here is if there is any way to troubleshoot the connections on the FSM? And do you think its actually worth me looking into getting it repaired or would the potential repairs outweigh the value? Id love to be able to have channel switching and still make this into a really sweet find.

you can build a little box with 2 seven pin jacks and a jack for a 15V DC power supply.

hook Herbert's midi in with a standard midi cable to the first jack
connect inside the box pins 4 and 5 of both 7 pin jacks
wire the DC jacks + to pin 6 of 2nd jack and - to pin 7
connect the second jack via 7 pin cable to the FSM

ummmmmm, you couldnt whip out a schematic and send it to me could you??
