Help with suhr minimix + wet/dry

I'm using the minimix ii for a wet/dry setup with two amps, connecting stuff according to the schematic below. The problem is that I only get a full wet sound from my fx if I short the ctrl-input on the minimix by inserting a jack cable half way. Is there an easier way?

Split from the Lehle to the FX units directly and just return into the Minimix. You don´t have any use for the dry signal going to the Minimix if the wet amp is 100% wet.
