10/18...

Some good progress! Prototypes moving along...

All parts for two boards have been received and the first two prototype boards also just arrived as well. They are being populated with two slightly different component sets as we speak and I'm going to pick the one I like best out of the two (with your help!). I'm going to build two complete prototype amps - one with each preamp implementation and do some clips so people can help me pick! Here are the prototype boards:

I've received quotes for the new chassis and selected a local vendor who also handles powder coating and silk screening, which will be great! Will order two prototype chassis next week - I should have them in 5 weeks...

Working with vendors to decided who will make the head case... still not sure...

Found a problem with the initial head case design and fixed it. Here are a few snaps of the final with the right parts for the handle and feet:

Will order the rest of the parts for complete prototype amps (off board components) next week.

This is really awesome!!!

I know hard modern metal isn't really your thing but the Cherry Bomb can sound so brutal. You should get one if these prototypes to Killertone or Fluff for a metal demo.

That's all I really play but I love good cleans too. I've wanted to check out the cherry bomb for a while but this bottle rocket would be perfect for someone like me and my price range

Prototype boards are done. My prototype chassis won't be here until mid-Dec, so I can't make any progress on the builds until then. Bummer!
