Bob S. was busting my chops on another forum for about getting my Henning clips up so here is a clip of a heavy tone from the bottle rocket

https://soundcloud.com/jerevil/henning-seeing-red-novox

here's the recording setup:

• Gibson Flying V
• Duncan Custom
• Steven Slate Drums
• Ibanez BTB Bass
• Studio Devil Bass Pro
• Focusrite Saffire Pro24
• Logic Pro X
• NOS Panther Ribbon Mic
• Splawn 2x12 - Celestion Creamback 65's

2 tracks panned hard left/right. A touch of EQ and Verb in Logic on the guitar tracks. No real tweaking. Trying to keep the amp sound as close to "unaffected" as possible.

Ok...

sounds very good. By very good I mean excellent.

Thx! Don't mind if you do

Keep up the good work with Steve's excellent amp too.

I really like what I'm hearing from Henning Amps, kudos to Mr. Henning as well!

Awesome, so nice to hear someone bust out some Entombed. Doesn't have the big, almost woolly character they have on that song but it sounds great. Could be the bass. Obviously they have a pretty gnarly bass tone most of the time which mixes in great with the guitars for a big sound. Now you need to do some Sword from Age of Winters.

Oh for sure. I am a huge Entombed fan and didn't want to do kl just the expected type tones for these clips. I have about 4 more clips showing different "styles" but wasn't necessarily trying to show a tone match per se. I am looking to show that with a one channel amp there's lots of tones that are appropriate for many types of rock or metal. I have some old Priest, Sabbath and KISS as well that I'll be posting. Again, not spot on tone matches with them but definitely some solid but different rock sounds for sure. Wanted to show that even with the "Modern" preamp in the one Steve sent me you can still get a good broad range.

For this I normally would have added my Black Arts Coven and used the Black Forest side of it to get that extra rage the HM2 they use adds.

I'll see if I can squeeze a couple more clips in while I have it.

what is that pedal that they always used? i remember you posting a demo of it once.(i think it was you.) oh yea-sounds great dude.

It was the Boss HM-2. I'm honestly not sure if they used it that much from Wolverine Blues on though. Their guitar sound cleaned up quite a lot then. Considering how heavy that was just shows how over the top Clandestine and LHP were.

Sounds awesome Jer! Loved it. That amp sounds amazing in your hands!!

Thanks man! I am glad to see that we both got some different tones out of these amps.

No boost in front?
Nope. No boost at all. Straight gain from the amp. There's is actually plenty more on tap.
