Awesome demo Jer! Loved it and hope Steve just kills it with this line. I miss having the prototype at my home. Destroyed my Mesa boogie Electradyne (and I really love my ED).
Thanks Chad! I do too. I have to say, Steve knows tone and I would probably stake a testical betting that it would be next to impossible to not find a tone ANY guitar player could use with great success with the Bottle Rocket.

I said on another forum, I am not trying to shill, but even though I have ZERO need for another amp, I'll be grabbing one in the not too distant future. It doesn't hurt that Steve is a very cool cat. When it comes to dropping top dollar on any gear, I don't like to do business with sh*theads. Personality and level of commitment to the customer experience is very important to me and I think Steve has that in spades.
Very nice of you to say, man! I'll have one for each of ya when production begins!

Steve

I'm not kidding man! I'll be shooting you an email in a bit.

Did you ever try that profile I made? Wondering what your thoughts are. If you dig it I'll share it out.

I can't wait as this is my favorite hot rodded Marshall I have ever played. Easily has the BEST master volume I have ever used on an amp!!

I haven't kept up on this amp as much as I would have liked, but from I remember reading, there were two different versions of this amp when Steve was prototyping. Is that still the case with this amp? If so, do you know which version this was? If I had to guess, I would have to say it's the vintage preamp! Sounds great either way! Great sounding amp!

Yes, still two preamps - calling them '80s and Modern right now. This is the Modern preamp... To be honest, the differences are very subtle and you could get very close to the same tones from either. There is a thread here where myself, Bob Savage and Chubtone (Curt) gave their thoughts on how the two preamps stack up:

Killer amps with basically the same tone with some differences. Here are the clips I recorded with the other prototype:

I should have mentioned this was Steve's "Modern" preamp but my understanding is they are not THAT different from each other.

You'll see in my next vids that it does classic rock/metal like a champ.

Hey Steve , any idea on a release date ?
It's going to be March/April of next year depending on how fast my suppliers can get their shit together... Always a fun process...
