Herbert Channel 3 LED Issue -solved-

Hey, I was wondering what others thought of this. My LED for channel 3 on my Herbert is going in and out. Sometimes it's lit up when I have the channel active, and sometimes it's not. What does this indicate most likely? Is it a short or that the LED is just going bad? Other than that the amp sounds great. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
I had the same thing happen to my Herbert a while ago on ch2 - it eventually went very dim. Mind you this is after almost six years of heavy playing.

I emailed Papa (peterdiezel at diezelamplification dot com) and he promptly sent me three new LEDs. It's easy to change with a little patience. They break out but I installed mine and soldered it for good measure.

Man, this is some great customer service! I knew you were good Peter, but I'm impressed! Thanks so much Peter and David too. Awesome. By the way Peter, I just purchased a Hagen to run in stereo wth my Herbert. I'm very excited about this. :rock: I will PM my address to David. Thanks again guys.

My pleasure...Papa.

Now maybe you can help me. I sent you a email regarding the input to my Herbert. The little housing that seats the input cracked off and I need to replace it. See attachment.

I'm Herbert-less until I can replace the little part. :aww: :no:

Just to clarify: It's the nut that fastens the input jack that cracked off.
