Hows it going? Not so well here. lol. I purchased this herbert used a couple weeks ago.. Basicly sold and traded all my gear to get it. First couple days of light use V1 goes bad... ok no problem, replaced all is well. Following 2 weeks play at low levels and just loving the thing. Well today was the day I was going to take it down to rehearsal and give her full go. So, I fire her up and just play a bit at the same levels as before , well i wanted to get a head start at Eq..ing at band levels so I bump up the volume and start tweaking for maybe 2 minutes and then loss of volume and I look over at the head and power tube #3 is bright blue and then the power cut! all in a matter of seconds! So , I go to pull fuses 1&6 is fine 2&5 is fine well 3&4 I cant get out seems like I smoke something. So I need some advice on what maybe the problem or is it fried!!!! Just sickins me man its not like I got those kind of funds just flowing. Anyways any help would be appriciated.

I have an idea.

I will public the email addresses of the tube manufactures.

99% of all issues with tube amps will be placed on
their side.

Your funds are not flowing on my side I just have to take care ;)

Please see attachment and send an email if You need further
assistance.

Best,
Peter

Its all good Peter! You are the man!!

So, update... I never experianced anything like what happened yesterday with a tube amp and bad tubes...lol .. It freaked me out... But , it was deffinately a bad tube(s). The fuse exploded in the fuse holder. But the fuse did its job, after pulling the chassis there appears to be no other damage than re -soldering a new fuse holder and of course replacing all the tubes. So, this I can handle and look forward to getting this baby up and running!!!!

We sent the parts today.

Hope they arrive as a lot of letters and parcels
got lost to USA last year.

Heres a pic!!!

That pic reminds me to check my amps to be sure I am running ceramic fuses.

Speaking of ceramic fuses! Does anybody know where I might be able to pick up some.

5x20mm 0.05 AT, 1.6 AT, 2 AT, & 6.3 AT Slo Blo in the US

I assume the AT stands for amps.
