Here's an idea for Herbert mk3:

a. make Channel 2's -/+ modes switchable
b. separate Gain Controls for -/+ ready!

Done!

The only tricky thing would be how to adjust the second Gain amount without modifying the existing housing.
Push/Pull, Trimpot, Gain Offset on the back ... I know it can be done.

To make it even better:

c. make all loops switchable
d. add switchable rear input B (to integrate external preamp)

I thought I saw Papa say that there would be no further revisions of the Herb.

Who knows... I am fine with a Hagen with 180 Watt and Mid Cut, too! ;-)
... the so called Hergen

poor Peter, hope we dont give him a heart attack ;)
from preamps, to new amps, even to customizing the current ones and a baby on the way

guess peter got a lot of those individual wishes,
but has to think for all users.
i'm so lucky to be in his area - he is always helpful.

How about a one channel amp, Oh wait, VH4 j/k mid cut on the hagen would be heavy!

Dear Peter,

The Herbert is awesome. I am a happy customer. Have a nice day.

I have a mk1 myself and can live without the new features from the first post, one happy customer here.
By the way, there is a mod to make the modes switchable, somewhere on this forum.

And yes, Peter stated a mk3 isn't coming.

Maybe add a coffeemaker in there as well. Can't have too many options on an amp. But make sure the coffeemaker is footswitchable for black or with added milk please!

On a serious note: there is a mod (explained in a sticky somewhere in this forum I believe, otherwise just search for it) that let's you switch the +/- function easily.
