There's a mod that you can do it with a 1/4' jack - not midi. Do a search - there was a thread about it at one point.

If it helps, you can make it kind of midi swichable with a midi triggered relay as eg. the G-Major or Behringer FCB footswitch has...

There was talk at one time about this mod, but some guys were saying there was noise issues after the mod. I just roll the volume back on my guitar in 2+.

No bro...that´s not the deal. REduce vol is nearly the same as 2-, but you´ll never have this ultra dry bass response 2- has.
Thats the reason i´ve modded mine.
The mod is pretty easy!
You need to drill a new jack or use a speaker out you don´t need. I took a speaker out.
Simply get a shielded mono cable and connct the switch with the jack. The switch needs to stay in pos "-" to make it remoteable.
And as xmartx said, you nedd some of those devices or similar.
That´s all.
And if you do some presets, you´ll need to program this switch.
