Hello,

I want to record in my house but cant put too hot de herbert or you must rescue under the building :D

Is good idea or exist something like better in this price range?

I read some user have problems in the tubes with an einstein, that the tubes blow up, and I have little respect right now.

Any suggestion?

Thank you.

Keep in mind that the PGA handles 100 Watts (120 Watts actually) - if you should crank the shit out of Herbert you shouldn't use it. If you run Herbert max. 4-5 on its master you'll be fine though . . .

Wow, good advice!!

Thank you so much

Exist another solution in this case?

Forget direct boxes....record with a real speaker!!!!

I use this....I'd share some of the clips I have with it but they are property of Pixar at this point in time...I'll record a few more and post them up at some point soon. It really does a great job or keeping things super quiet yet capturing the amp!

its not bad...i've definitely recorded demo quality stuff with this set up. but it certainly doesn't sound as good as micing up a diezel. i would try the compensated out before using the palmer though, just to compare them!

Thnx PBGas, but don't have more space in my studio it's really mini

Can explain me, what is the compensated out and how working?

Can connect directly to the audio card?

:)
