that chart is cool as hell, and plus i've never seen it before,
i just dime everything, it feels like pain, really though it depends but i'll share if it matters?!
umm channel 2, for crunch, gain either dimed or at 2-3 clock,
treble dimed for low volumes 2-3 high volume,
middle 10 clock,
bass, 2-3 clock
mid cut engaged with intensity dimed for low vol. and 9-10 clock for high vol.
master set to situation,
channel three for the next time this thread comes up dueces
if that makes sense i'd be surprised, cause i'm fucked on a sleeping pill right now,
Yes they're quite good settings, then to adjust in relationship to your guitar/pickup/cab combo and taste.
i like so much the so called "Brown" Sound
some are very exagerated like the ones with ch2+ with 5 o'clock gain... c'mon ! that's too much
Can anybody please suggest me some settings to get Black Sabbath first albums sound with the Herbert?
And then the same for Heaven & Hell's The Devil You Know album ( more modern and higain sounding )
Right now my ch2+ is set at vol 12:00, gain 1:00 treb 11:00 mid 2:00 bass 1:00 mid cut on intensity 9:30 level 12:00 and presence and deep at about 12:00.
I'm running a Soloist with stock seymore duncans in it.
When I first got the amp I was running the mid cut intensity at 1 or 2:00, it seems to have alot more punch with the intensity turned back.
The amp has el34's in it but I'm thinking of putting some 6550's to see what that will do.
