Herbert squeaks

Hi

Due to lack of time I haven't had any time the last months to play my Herbert MK1. In fact I haven't played the monster for months.

Today I had a few minutes to play it again. Unfortunatelly Herbert squeaks every 5 minutes after muting the strings.

I guess I have to change preamp tubes (although all six are glowing). What do you think?

I've never actually had a pre-amp tube "blow" on me before. They always go micro-phonic long before they get close to that point. Change your tubes with the recommended diezel ones for the pre-amp section!!
