The tubes are about 2 years old. I will try to change that first. Do I have to change preamp tubes also?

i think its time for a fresh set of power tubes. You can change the pres too... i would...if u play alot. If you dont , your pres may be ok.

I can see the new ad campaign now. Pauly playin thru random other amp and he's all lonely playing the blues... He plugs into a Diezel and he's playin metal and instantly surrounded by several pairs of giant juggs.
