Bought the STL tones Libra for mixing IR’s. And I still end up just using a single IR :D Anyways this is quite a different mix than I’ve ever done. Might be alittle wide, but you be the judge. Utilized the black box HG2 quite a bit on the mix buss, as well as on the guitars. Really makes things pop if used carefully, although easy to get carried away with it. Anyways, enjoy!

Great effort, Chris!

I can't make any definitive mix judgements on my CrapMac ZeroBass™ mono speaker, but I loved the groove of the B section. Got me goosenecking straight away, mate.

HG2's great. I'm a big rap for PA plugins and collected them for years. Good stuff.

Thanks monkey man. It’s a great plug, but easy to overdo it! It really gives me the fatness I just can’t seem to dial in on my own yet, especially in the midrange of the mix as a whole. Definitely a game changer plug for me when used right.

Indeed mate.

The trick with almost all analogue-style emu's and indeed most gear, even amps, is to find the sweet spot/s that work / works for you.

Push things too-hard and everything becomes a dog's breakfast.

Do you utilize the mid/side version of the HG-2 much?

Haven't used HG2 at all.

Been in limbo for years after some disasters, "rebuilding" a recording setup s-l-o-w-l-y due to financial limitations, so all my PA purchases have been based on user feedback, mostly in the GearSpace thread:

Who Uses Plugin Alliance?

If you haven't discovered it, it's worth following IMHO, mate.
