It’s the same thing if I use only the captor x. I’m betting it’s the normalizing stuff.
 
Not sure what you’re recording into, but with Logic I had to turn off any kind of Normalization/Overload Protection on the bounce because it was doing all kinds of nasty shit to my tracks. I couldn’t figure out why they’d sound different post-bounce, that was it right there.
I’m using a UA Volt 2 as the interface and going into Ableton 11. They have sounded the same using the Captor X, just a 57 on a speaker, and also a mix of the two.

Thanks for the advice on the normalizing. Going to look into that.
